Guilty or Innocent?

Seventh grade can be tough, and I hope you can help me in my last couple adventures in the mad world of middle school. And of course because you help me i'll be more than willing to help you if you've got issues with the drama. You know my mom is always telling me that this is the point in my life where puberty kicks in and drama is at the extreme. So, hopefully that is not true because i'm not sure how i'll be able to get through anymore. Middle school girls can be mean, manipulative, rude, and more than anything else cocky. But I really hope no one classifies me like that, I find myself of course making mistakes like everyone else but hoping my true friends think of me as someone different. Back to the case at hand, middle school girls, terrible creatures are they not? So for privacy reasons the names issued in this tale are not real. Well they're real but not anyone I know. It was a hot, humid Phoenix day. Close to the end of the school year and Jenna had been acting up again. She had been spreading rumors of one of my besties Ali saying that she had called her a mean name that I shall not mention or i'll be in the doghouse here back at home. So Ali had supposedly called Jenna a mean name and Jenna was telling all her "Close friends" like Lucy, Shay, and Rebecca. Of course those were the only friends she has but we'll save that incident for another time. Ali was so upset about these rumors, she was the most upset i've seen her in a while and Ali is a tough cookie and doesn't let anyone get to her, unlike me i'm a soft, chewy cookie. So what Jenna had done to her was really angering me because she got my bestie so sad. Of course Jenna comes by trying to save he day that was already pretty much lost because of her. And me being my literary self came up with a metaphor and told it to Lucas my guy best friend. I think it went a little like this "How many times will she have to get burned to realize the oven is on?" Fancy huh? So now Jenna is now referred to as the oven. Since the time has passed the oven has been ok but I can't help thinking she might hurt my friends and me again. What do you think should we give Jenna a second chance or should she be guilty as charged? And one last thing I want to give out a special shout out to my best friends hoping I won't be convicted guilty of something that has occurred between us three. You know who you are. Forgive me, humans make accidents right?

Sharknado is the best movie ever

As you can tell by this picture Sharknado is about Sharks that get sucked up by a tornado. Let that sink in. I mean the first time I ever heard about was from my best friend ever. She told me about it and I cracked up. It starts out with a boat on the ocean and the sailors catch a shark then cut off the fin. After that they serve fin soup to the food critic guy that is downstairs. Then, a storm comes and sharks start raining in and when I saw that I was just like "WOW!" I was laughing so hard i was crying. Oh my Gosh then a serious storm comes and knocks down a bar and some people die. Check out the trailer! I probably said "Oh Snap" five times during that trailer. Check this movie out on the Sci Fi channel!

                             A Short Story

(That turned into a noun and a verb)

This is the story of Skunky Hoe. Now don't think the wrong way about that! Any way the story of Skunky Hoe started like this: While camping one year I think the year was 2012. Yes, that was the year. Anywho every summer my family and my mom's side of the family go camping at Cave Springs. That is the most amazing, fantastic, cool, did i say amazingest? Well it is the most amazingest campground ever! This was Skunky Hoe's birthplace. I should give you the background of Skunky hoe so here it goes. One night my families were sitting near the campfire doing the fireside campfire thingy so we were telling stories. And it was the "you tell a sentence then i make the next sentence game." You  know who wasn't playing? MY DAD HE IS A WRITER BUT HE WASN'T PLAYING! P.S. He's never gonna get his book published that way.So the story was going good until... My sister got her spotlight. My sister is four. Her mind can only hold so much. So she wasn't paying any attention to anything so when it was her turn . . .This is what she said  "The Great Skunky Hoe rose out of the fire!" It was silent then an uproar of laughter. It swept me off my feet.It was like a hurricane! So then during the rest of the camping  trip while playing board game if you dominated someone you would say "You just got Skunky Hoed!" So that is how Skunky Hoe become a noun and a verb!
THIS IS OUR CAMPGROUND!

family feud or some sort of game show

Family Feud (or some kind of game show)

Freshly cut grass. The smell is disgusting. I can smell it while I am writing right now. Gross. Anywho i was walking down that freshly cut grass today and i was thinking about Family Feud. "He he." I chuckled but i guess to loud  while walking to school and everyone started staring. I was like "What? Do I have something on my face? Did I forget to put deodorant on?" But I only said that in my mind. Then, I realized oh, I burst out laughing again. I do that a lot. You probably want to know what I was laughing at well here it is:
Who does this guy think he is?
I know what you are thinking; what is so funny about that?
Well when you go to school and you think your whole life is jacked up, you gotta have some kind of humor.

            Lord of the Rings

So I just finished up the amazing Lord of the Rings trilogy. It blew me away. I was like “whoa” I didn’t see that coming. I was shocked every minute of the journey to destroy the ring in the fiery pit of Mordor. I felt like I was traveling with Frodo and Sam to Mordor. Then battling Orks with the help of Gandalf the Grey (or white whichever one you want to call him) Hear the whizzing of an arrow going past my ear shot from Legolass. And even sitting next Gollum with all his disgusting wrinkles! Gross! How can you not love it! The exciting journey with epic twists! I watched it because my best friend had watched it and told me about it and I was jealous. There is the truth. I was envious. So I decided to watch it after I came home from Church. It was one of the best decisions I have ever made! I couldn’t wait to watch “The Two Towers” the week after. If you haven’t seen these movies you have got to!

Basketball, one word. To me, special, to you, may be a random word in the dictionary. I like this one special word because of what it is. A game. A special game. Integrity, getting active, teamwork, just 3 things that have to do with this game. 3 good things, but of course when there are 3 good things there may be 3 bad things. In this case there are 3 not so great things fouls, pushing, even @$#%, yah 6th grade basketball can lead up to that. When you get on a basketball team (if you want to of course) you will learn how to trust, have fun in a sport (that I LOVE), and your memory will improve. You ask how do I learn to trust in a game? Well you got to trust your teammates when they come to set a screen. Have fun in a sport how? I think enough was said when I said have fun in a sport. Now memory, that might confuse you, might. You have to learn your plays; you HAVE to learn your plays. It is a must have in basketball. So now that I gave you some tips go play some 21!

Alpha and Omega movie review

Ok, today I’m going to give a movie review on “Alpha and Omega”. If you really liked this movie I suggest you read no further. Just in case you want to read it well this is just my opinion. When I first saw this movie it was in the summer movie festival at Harkins. I was with my cousins when it was playing. Most of the time we make fun of the movie if we don’t like it. [this was one of them] during the title screen when a song was playing we started to whisper to each other. “what song is that”?  At the end of the movie we started to talk about our favorite parts. Colin [the youngest cousin I sat with], Jacob [he’s only 2 months older than me and I also sat with him], and me [Jessica Thorson] had nothing to say. Actually we started talking about what was wrong with the movie. Some of the things we said were: animation bad, conflict horrible, music from what century? I also suggest if you haven’t seen this movie DON’T see it!
